This weekend our community is celebrating creativity in a big way with three art events across Angola.

Today between 5 and 6 p.m., meet the artists who created the eight new sculptures that will be unveiled in downtown Angola. Stroll through the updated Imagine Alley, visit the food trucks and shop our unique stores and boutiques. The sculptures are sponsored by community partners, including the Steuben County Tourism Bureau.

On Saturday, June 6, head to Commons Park for the Arts in the Park Festival. More than 25 vendors will be on site between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., selling everything from paintings to pottery. A full musical lineup takes the stage throughout the festival, which is sponsored by the Angola Performing Arts Academy and Angola Parks and Recreation.

Be sure to stop in the Angola Performing Arts Academy Gallery, 45 S. Public Square, for the new show featuring Crazy Chicken Lady Art by Michelle Strotman. The gallery is open Fridays from 5 to 8 p.m.; Saturdays 4 to 7 p.m. and Sundays 1 to 4 p.m. through July 12 for the show.
