🏡 A VERY COOL PIECE OF IOWA HISTORY! 🇺🇸

We’re starting a pretty incredible project today! 🤩

This historic Des Moines home was built in 1917 and has ties to Henry A. Wallace, who went on to become the 33rd Vice President of the United States.

One of the coolest parts of the story — his father had this home built for Henry’s mother entirely out of concrete because she was afraid of the powerful tornadoes we get here in the Midwest. 🌪️

More than 100 years later, Nick’s Painting Plus gets the opportunity to help preserve and refresh this amazing piece of Iowa history.

We’re excited to bring some new life to a home with such a unique story and history behind it! 🎨🇺🇸

You’ll still find Nick in the field alongside our Project Manager Brandon meeting with homeowners, checking on projects, answering questions, and making sure every detail is handled correctly.

Hands on leadership from the first conversation to the final walkthrough. That’s the NPP way, Painting is our passion, making people happy is our mission.

We’ve been making the most of the rain days and putting in some late evenings getting the new Wellmans Pub freshened up! 🎨🍻

𝘈 𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘭𝘦 𝘥𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘨𝘯𝘦𝘳 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘱𝘪𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘚𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘸𝘪𝘯-𝘞𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘢𝘮𝘴 💙 Smoky Azurite is a beautiful example of how the right pop of color can completely transform a space while still feeling sophisticated and intentional. Such a good reminder not to be afraid of color!
