New colorway for 38.5mm dial. Loving the contrast of the gray lacquer with the platinum chapter ring.

From raw brass to refined precision.

This is where it begins. The first sparks as the laser starts shaping a new dial. The moment the cut completes. The raw form, fresh off the machine, holding the promise of what’s to come.

Now the real transformation begins. Polishing. Plating. Polishing again. Painting.

Every step brings it closer to the standard we hold ourselves to at PD Atelier.

New prototype finished. New paint and plating is a big upgrade. Happy with the progress.

New design in the works. This is a prototype with 29 mm dial. 38.5 mm version in the works. Several watches to build with the new design. Completely changed my paint process and paint brand which will be a big upgrade from this example.

Made a couple of new finishing mandrels and changed blasting media. Finishes are steadily getting better.

Latest completed: Model 22 with swiss automatic/date movement. Working on several more colors for the next pieces.

9 foot walnut dining table with traditional mortise and tenon joinery. I have been using Osmo hard wax oil finish for the past 5 years. Amazing matte sheen, incredible natural feel to the surface and excellent protection from fluids. Quite possibly the easiest finish to achieve consistent excellent results.
