Coordination among stakeholders was key at Community State Bank’s new 76,500-square-foot headquarters in Ankeny. As the Design-Build MEP partner and engineer of record, Baker Group brought together design, BIM coordination, prefabrication, and building automation solutions to help deliver a modern, collaborative workplace for a local client.

That’s a wrap on a record-breaking summer at Baker Group! 📈

This summer, we welcomed the largest intern class in company history, with 42 interns working across four locations and 13 departments while representing 12 colleges and universities from 10 states. Throughout the summer, our interns gained hands-on experience, contributed to important projects, and learned from teams and leaders across the company.

Their summer also included:

🤝 Volunteer work with ChildServe
📚 West Des Moines Chamber of Commerce YURtern professional development events
🏠 Building homes with Greater Des Moines Habitat for Humanity

🎯 Bags & BBQ with their mentors for food, fun, and friendly competition
