TreeTown Murals is an award winning midwestern mural company. Founded in 2007 by artist Mary Thiefels.

By participating in the development and preservation of the mural art form, TreeTown Murals reaches a wide variety of audiences by bringing mural art not only into your homes and businesses, but also into the greater community for everyone who chooses to enjoy it!

The mission of TreeTown Murals (TTM) is to create art that is transformative. The “Murals That Bridge” (MTB) project pushes our mission throughout the Ann Arbor art community. The award winning Huron Bridge mural is seen by hundreds to thousands of commuters each month. The mural is a welcoming gateway into the downtown area.
Now TTM is helping to raise funds to create the next gateway mural in a city that is enriched in art that captures Ann Arbor’s pulse. The N. Main Street Bridge (Murals That Bridge 2.0) and surrounding walls will undergo a restoration and beautification becoming the next must-see mural in Ann Arbor’s rich artistry community.
The funds raised through “MTB 2.0” GoFundMe campaign will go towards supplies such as equipment and materials necessary to complete the project. Welcome To Goudy Park! This mural was designed and painted in partnership with the Detroit Institute Of Arts Detroit Institute of Arts as part of Partners In Public Art (PIPPA) Program.

The Goudy Park Mural, located in Downtown Wayne, Michigan highlights and attracts residents & visitors to the newly renovated park, a central hub for the community that features a seasonal concert series, family-friendly events, a splash pad plus river and biking activities.

Completed in October of 2025, the Goudy Park Mural is a wondrous piece to see in person.

Welcome To Goudy Park! This mural was designed and painted in partnership with Detroit Institute Of Arts Detroit Institute of Arts as part of Partners In Public Art (PIPPA) Program.

The Goudy Park, located in Downtown Wayne, Michigan highlights and attracts residents & visitors to the newly renovated park, a central hub for the community that features a seasonal concert series, family-friendly events, a splash pad plus river and biking activities.

Once the mural design was approved, the image would be transferred using a combination of digital projection for large shapes and a VR headset with a compatible mural transfer program for the details and lettering.

TreeTown Murals artist Mary Thiefels, Danijel Matanic, Robin Speth and Samuel Turner are captured throughout the creation seen in this gallery. Artist, Sam Turner designed the mural. Completed in October of 2025, the Goudy Park Mural is a wondrous piece.
