FDP Mold Remediation of Annapolis responded to a serious mold situation on North Beaumont Avenue in Catonsville, MD, ensuring the client’s home returned to a safe and healthy state. Our team implemented a strategic approach to tackle the mold infestation in a bedroom, prioritizing both effectiveness and safety.
We began by setting up containment barriers and applying negative pressure to isolate the affected area and prevent spores from spreading. Using antimicrobial fogging, we treated the contaminated spaces to halt the spread of mold and neutralize airborne particles. A HEPA air scrubber with a 500 CFM rate was placed in the bedroom to filter the air continuously for three days, enhancing indoor air quality.
For structural integrity, we carefully removed a section of the infected ceiling, disposing of contaminated materials responsibly. To manage humidity levels and deter mold regrowth, an LGR dehumidifier was also stationed for three days. Throughout the process, our technicians wore full PPE, ensuring a safe and thorough remediation process.
Job well done, with precision and care to give our clients peace of mind.
