Climate Flow proudly supports CASA of the Cheaha Region in their efforts to advocate for children who have been neglected or abused. We'd like to challenge all of our followers to also follow their page and consider becoming a donor or volunteer.

The cost associated with recruiting, training, and supporting a volunteer to advocate for one child in our community is approximately $1,200 annually. With your gift of $1,200, you become a CASA Sponsor and ensure that one child in Calhoun or St. Clair County will have a trusted adult to watch out for their best interests and be their voice in the courtroom.

Climate Flow, LLC has not only been a donor for several years, one of the co-owners is also a volunteer advocate! We appreciate their commitment to helping children who have been neglected or abused. Summer is flying by and that means it's time for one of our favorite contests! Nominate your favorite teacher in any school system (public or private) within Calhoun County to win a gift certificate to Davie's School Supply in Anniston. Two teachers with the most nominations will each win $100 gift certificates. We will also give away a $50 gift certificate by random drawing.

Rules:
*Any K-12 teacher who works in any school system (public or private) located in Calhoun County is eligible.
*To nominate a teacher, simply post a comment with their name and school in this post.

We are looking to hire an entry level sheet metal apprentice. If you are interested or know anyone interested, please call Dustin at 256-283-6779. This is a skilled trade that is physical. You work in the heat and the cold and have to lift heavy things throughout the day. Your boots will get muddy often. You have to use various power and hand tools during the day. If you can handle these things, please call. If you've never put in a physical day mowing a field, changing out brakes, helping build a deck, or something similar, this is probably not for you. Starting pay is $11.00.
