We're often hired to take down walls in order to create a more open floor plan within a home.🛠️

However for this project, our customers asked us to instead do the opposite, by creating a new room where there wasn't one.

This particular family needed to create 2 separate spaces within their living room: one private room to see patients, along with a separate sitting area for them to wait to be seen.

Understanding that adding walls could potentially make the space feel a little cramped, they presented a unique & functional barn door design idea to help the room feel more open.

It worked out great, & they were thrilled with the end result.✨✨

Our customer was hoping to give these traditional-looking breakfast nook cabinets a much more bold & contemporary aesthetic, while also increasing her available storage space.

So we custom-built new bases, doors & drawers, & painted them a rich accent shade that perfectly complemented her existing wall color & countertops.

Thought we'd show our customers what the two of us have been up to for the past 2 years, on those rare days that we're not working on everyone else's projects.🤗

One thing we learned throughout this long, arduous process is that RV renovations are WAY more complicated than home ones, as they require just about everything to be modified in some weird way or custom built entirely.🛠️

But we got creative & finished it up, & now we're super excited to finally get it out on the road & explore our beautiful country together.🚐💨🇺🇸

Our customer was hoping to expand the size of his bedroom by converting this single car garage into additional living space.

We accomplished this by:

🏠Replacing the original door with a new wall, complete with beautiful windows & matching stone

⚖️Pouring a level concrete floor

🚪Creating a new private side entrance

🛏️Carefully opening & supporting the adjacent bedroom wall

🔥Blowing new insulation in all outside walls

❄️Installing electrical line for separate a/c unit

🖌️Repairing/sanding/texturing/painting all drywall

🚪Adding a second interior door to help create additional separation & privacy for that section of the house

It was a true privilege to help our wonderful customers with this unique project.✨🏠✨

A small additional niche was built behind the tv mount in order to invisibly house all hardware/wires, while still providing easy access when needed.🛠️

We truly enjoyed creating this wonderful update to our customer’s gorgeous home.✨🏠✨
