TCA Executive Director Kaylah White and team recently had the tough job of serving as mystery judges at BBQ in Red Shoes in Nashville! ๐Ÿ”ฅ

The event brought people together for delicious BBQ, friendly competition and, most importantly, to support the Ronald McDonald House of Nashville and the families it serves.

TCA was happy to be part of the fun and support such a great cause!

๐ŸŽ“ Meet TCA Scholarship Recipient Lily Crook!

A junior in MTSUโ€™s Concrete Industry Management program, Lily received a $1,250 TCA scholarship as she continues preparing for a career in the concrete industry.

Construction runs in Lilyโ€™s family. Growing up around her fatherโ€™s excavation business and seeing her grandfatherโ€™s concrete work helped spark her interest in the field. Now, sheโ€™s looking forward to gaining more hands-on experience with concrete testing and flatwork in the CIM lab.

Her favorite topic? Admixtures and the many ways they can change concreteโ€™s properties and performance.

๐ŸŽ“ Meet TCA Scholarship Recipient Paiseley Davidge!

Paiseley is a sophomore in MTSUโ€™s Concrete Industry Management program and received a $1,250 TCA scholarship to support her education.

She chose CIM because of the opportunities she sees in a growing industry that offers both job stability and plenty to learn. This year, sheโ€™s especially excited to dive into the foundations of concrete and learn more about mix design, her favorite concrete topic.

Paiseley is also a member of MTSUโ€™s ACI Student Chapter and hopes to participate in student competitions in the future.
