🌵 Sonny’s Tip of the Day 🌵
“Closing vents doesn’t save money — it can actually make your system work harder.”
A lot of people think shutting vents in unused rooms lowers the bill… but most systems are designed to move a certain amount of air. Closing too many vents can increase static pressure and reduce efficiency.
Instead try:
✅ Keep supply vents open
✅ Replace dirty filters
✅ Use ceiling fans to help circulate air
✅ Raise the thermostat 1–2° instead of closing rooms
Comfort isn’t about making the unit work harder — it’s about making the house work smarter. ❄️🔥
