🎃👻 Carve pumpkins—not a path to clogged drains!

Making a jack-o’-lantern this spooky season? Keep pumpkin pulp, stringy guts, and seeds out of your sink and garbage disposal. 🗑️

🎃 Why? Pumpkin fibers can tangle around garbage disposal blades, while pulp and seeds can collect in pipes and contribute to clogs—even after going through the disposal. 🚰

Put pumpkin scraps in the trash, and scrape leftover pieces off your carving tools before washing them.

AJSD wishes you a Halloween full of treats! 🦇🧡

🎃👻 Don’t let your pipes become a scary movie! 🚽

Wipes, grease, and other clog culprits can cause a real sewer scare! 😱 Even wipes labeled “flushable” belong in the trash.

🧻 Only flush the three P’s: P*e, P**p, and Toilet Paper!
🍳 Keep fats, oils, and grease out of drains. Cool it. Contain it. Trash it.

Help Apache Junction Sewer District keep wastewater flowing—and keep the spooky surprises in your Halloween decorations! 🎃👻🕸️

🍂 With fall cooking on the way, AJSD reminds our community to keep fats, oils, and grease (FOG) out of sinks and toilets.

After cooking, let the FOG cool, place it in a container, and put the container in the trash. Pouring FOG down a drain can clog your pipes and cause problems in the sewer system.

Cool it. Contain it. Trash it.
