Did you know too much salt or too little salt can affect chlorine production?

High salt levels can actually damage your equipment or cause staining on your plaster, and can cause the salt cell to not produce chlorine. Too little will also not allow the salt cell to produce chlorine. Be sure to check your salt levels regularly!

☀️ What CYA (Stabilizer) Does

CYA protects your chlorine from being burned off by the sun. Without it, chlorine disappears quickly. Too much of it though? Chlorine becomes less effective. It’s all about balance. Once its there, its there until the water becomes diluted. Use of tabs can increase CYA to the point where the chlorine won't work.
