For the past week, Superior Traffic crews have been deployed across the state to provide safe work zones for our Utility and Contractor partners while they perform power restoration efforts. Traffic hazards can become exceptionally dangerous in storm situations, and we appreciate the opportunity to mitigate them.
Thank you to our team members who worked through the holiday, the heat, and the rain to hold the line, allowing lineman to focused on their work.

We have a small ask, with a big impact. Our local community, and friend, has been struck with tragedy. Two children, Lincoln and Amara are still missing for over a week now!! Details are below and we ask our Utility community friends to spread this information state to state! Our IBEW community is huge and is spread across this country. At this point they could be in any state and we ask you to do your thing and share share share. Be aware and on the look out to help bring this family back together.
We ask IBEW Local 1249 to share across their platforms as well to try and reach as many areas as possible.

Happy National Work Zone Awareness Week 2026. At Superior Traffic Control Systems, safety isn’t just a policy—it’s a priority. As construction season ramps up, our team is working hard to ensure that every driver and worker makes it home to their family safely.
In 2022, there were 891 fatalities in work zones nationwide. That is 891 too many.
What we are asking of you this week and all year long:
1️⃣ Slow Down: Speeding is a leading cause of work zone crashes.
2️⃣ Stay Alert: Put down the phone and stop distracted driving.
3️⃣ Move Over: Give our crews space to work.
We want to thank our team, as we are proud of their hard work and dedication to maintaining safe roadways.
