There is so much to discover at your local botanical garden. 🪴Here are some recent orchid spottings 👀 that we saw at the Naples Botanical Garden. We didn't stop long enough to capture the tags with names, so please don't ask for individual names - but the Encyclias were abundant, as were the Vandas and Brassavolas / Brassavola hybrids.

☀️ Give it bright, filtered light—generally more light than a Phalaenopsis, while protecting it from intense midday sun.
💧 Water thoroughly, then allow the potting media to approach dryness before watering again. Good drainage and air movement around the roots are important.
🌱 Feed during active growth, regular applications of a balanced orchid fertilizer at an appropriate dilution can support strong roots, pseudobulbs and future flowering.
