Fall is clearing season, and there's real reasoning behind it.

As temperatures drop, vegetation goes dormant. That means less regrowth after mulching since root systems aren't pulling the energy they would during peak growing season. Cooler air also keeps equipment running efficiently for longer, and ground that's firmed up after summer makes for easier, cleaner access.

80 acres in a local neighborhood burned last year. This firebreak helped keep that fire from spreading to more properties. 🏠

A firebreak is a cleared strip of bare ground that takes away the dry grass and brush a fire needs to keep moving. Around homes, barns, and property lines, it gives you a buffer between your place and whatever's burning next door. As you know Oklahoma grass is DRY right now.

Scope: Started with a wooded site that needed to be opened up for new construction. We cleared the building area, removed trees/vegetation, completed the necessary dirt work, and graded/prepped the pad site for the builder’s next phase.
