Did you know that the Arborvitae means "tree of life"? There are many varieties of Arborvitae that make fantastic screens for unwanted views. They are an easy-care tree and if planted in the right spot, should need no pruning. These have been growing in our backyard for 11 years and we love them!

Happy New Year everybody! Now is a great time to take a look outside and start planning for the spring. Is there an area in your yard that needs some color? Texture? Something taller or shorter? The October Glory Maple is one of the absolute best trees for fall color. Keep in mind that Fall is the best time to plant! The days are getting shorter, the plants aren't stressed by heat, and they can spend all their energy on putting down roots. Happy Fall!
