The sun is the best light a photographer has to work with. The Barclay Condominium’s facade faces west and sits in a canyon of skyscrapers that only lets direct sunlight in between 1:30-2:00pm. It shines from the south up north on 18th Street, skimming it with light for only 30 minutes. The challenge, for me, is getting a good capture in one frame. The joy comes from more time behind the camera and less time in front of the computer.
