Interesting discovery during a recent real estate inspection on a septic tank!

While performing a septic camera inspection, we located a buried selector valve that directs sewer flow to one of two separate systems.

We ran the camera up the line, then carefully dug up the valve handle to show exactly how it works — including a live view of the sliding door mechanism.

These kinds of finds are a great reminder of why thorough septic inspections are so valuable during real estate transactions.

Before ➡️ After: Why Effluent Filters Matter

Family, tractors, and cake—what a combo!

Our grandson Ezekiel just turned 2, and my wife made him this amazing John Deere 8630 cake with a tandem disk rolling across buttercream fields. Fun fact: Zeke is actually Francis’s first cousin once removed—many of you know Francis from our septic crew. Big equipment runs in the family, whether it’s trucks, tractors, or toy cakes. 💚🚜🎂
