Our home office and mill is located in Arlee, Montana, uniquely situated such that we can readily service towns from Darby, Montana up to Eureka, Montana, as well as outlying areas such as Thompson Falls and the I-90 corri

dor (from Rapid City, SD to Coeur d’Alene, ID!). We service all of Montana including: Belgrade, Bozeman, Butte, Billings, Helena, Great Falls, the Greater Yellowstone region, and Dillon. We have also provided products to a variety of states across the country including, Wyoming, Idaho, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, California, Nevada, Nebraska, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Ohio and more!

In October 2025, Therma Wood Technologies purchased Bison Hardwood — and we’re excited about what’s ahead.

We’ll continue operating under the original name Buckeye Hardwoods, which still stands for the quality and care Hank built it on. After a season of adversity, it means a lot to step into this next chapter with momentum and real opportunity.

We’re looking forward to being under the management of Dustin Clary and Hank Adams — and Ron and Chris are still here.

Same standards.
Same heart.
Even more potential.

Do you have an amazing floor to submit? Here are the requirements for the NWFA Wood Floor of the Year Awards!

Submissions are now open for the NWFA Wood Floor of the Year Awards.

The awards were developed to encourage and recognize innovative craftsmanship and design in wood flooring installations. Since the program began in 1990, more than 300 awards have been presented to NWFA member companies throughout the world.

NWFA members may submit any number of entries at no cost. A separate form is required for each entry. The submission period ends at 5:00 pm (Central Standard Time) on February 1, 2024.
