I have a dump truck that I will start using to deliver materials. It can haul up to 8 ton and I can haul stone, dirt, debris, mulch, landscape stone, and anything else that would fit. These 2 decks and dock have nearly every feature you can think of which made this project challenging at times but it was also an extremely fun project. The dock is 20’ by 20’ and is sitting on top of 2 large steel I-beams. The finished level of the dock is flush to the ground with no step up onto it and only sits about 18” above the water. The decks are roughly 20’ by 20’ as well and have a lot of features so we’ll list them for you quick. Composite decking, integrated gutter/roof membrane, horizontal cable railing, lighted post caps, soffit ceiling below, and can lights. Each deck is about 8’ off the beautiful concrete patio below with black aluminum soffit and can lights on the bottom side of the frame. The integrated gutter/roof membrane allows the space under the decks to be used even when it’s raining. The membrane goes on the framing before the decking to catch all rain water and act as a roof over top the area below. The railing is aluminum posts and top railing with cable running through each post for the “balusters”. Each post cap has lights in them that are wired to a controller that the settings can be changed on. Recent porch/patio remodel. Homeowner wasn’t able to use the deck due to being on the south face of the house and always having direct sunlight. The original stucco on this house needed replaced so we removed it all and installed new board and batten vinyl siding along with cedar shake look vinyl on the gables. The home owners were looking for a more up to date look and they definitely accomplished it with the siding choices!
