1 of the projects that we started on in S. Arlington this week. Sprinkler is started with sod, trees and shrubs coming soon.

The heat is here for a few months. The best thing for new trees ( even 2-3 year old ) is to use a water hose and drip water on the root ball for 30 min slowly 2-3 times per week. This will get the water deep to the roots and not only allow the tree to survive the summer but thrive. Hope this helps.

At the nursery and came across some very nice Chaste trees. This can be used as a small tree as it reaches a height of 15-20’ tall and spread of 10-15’. It flowers all summer long

Out with the old and in with the new. This entire front lawn was a perennial garden. Too much to take care of. We excavated the plants, mulch and graded the soil to install a new shade tolerant DelMar St. Augustine lawn for easier maintenance.

This backyard had the same landscape since it was installed, ten plus years ago. It had just a straight line of shrubs, and now, after a remodel, it has a unity of shrubs along with a perennial and annuals for a bit of colorful blooms.
