Some awards this year:) bass race finals for first between me and Jaimz white was an utter fail lol. I red flagged for starting music before the clock, and he had a malfunction on his setup and lost power to an amp, ultimately beating me in the 140-149.9 class with a 132.something. lol. Still. I had fun and learned a lesson!Surf City SoundOff

~HONEST OPINION~ of the new DC 9.5 K
This amp puts out like your ex GF…
(daily @ 1 ohm)dropping it down to .25 for burps and with rise it’s put out over 11,000 watts @ 0.8. With my voltage in the mid 14’s… certified sealed, broke 54 @ 30hz on two 18” lvl 5’s in a no wall with my frameless window fozzy… with some box changes I expect I’ll get the 55 soon.
(Plan on shrinking the volume and getting my tune up to the mid to upper 30’s.)
ANYWAY! I was told to keep the A3 9K I had by almost everyone, as it was a beast, of course. And it could handle the quarter ohm load daily as well! Only time I had an issue with this new 9.5 was coming home from surf city yesterday, left it wired down and played it for a TAD TOO LONG😅. She got hot, real hot, BUT! When it shut off, and scared the sh*t out of me thinking that I popped it, (no lights on the k**b) I sat there driving down the freeway, pi**ed off I just ruined it, and not even in the lanes! I gave it ten minutes with the wind cooling it down, turned the head unit back on, and man was I relieved to see the power blue light come
Back on!:) so lesson learned!!!

Cleaned up nice… A little before and after at the surf city show so the rim didn’t look too bad while I was hittin them lanes!
