With temperatures expected to drop into the low teens later this week, this is your reminder to remove hoses and suppliers from your hose bibs. Also, make sure you know where your main shut off valve is in case of a water leak.

With temperatures potentially getting below
freezing this week, now is a good time be a good time
to take any hoses or splitters off your hose bibs
(exterior faucets) to avoid a nasty freeze break.

Modern hose bibs are designed to be "frost-free", but
that feature only works if they are allowed to drain any
residual water left in them after they are shut off. The
number one cause of hose bib leaks inside the home is
hoses left on during a freeze. Don't let a costly mistake
happen to you, but call us if it does!
