RM Ursula is a striking jewel toned purple 3.5 to 4 inch bloom that is a magnet for attention in the garden. Long, strong burgundy stems hold the blooms at the perfect 45° angle and complement the plant perfectly. Height right around 4.5’ tall.

River’s Winnifred is a showstopper. Towering plants reach up to 7 feet tall for me and produce impressive 7 inch blooms in the most beautiful warm coral pink. Petal packed blooms are full of movement, with twisting, curling petals in shades of salmon, dusty rose, and soft watermelon. Big, ruffly, romantic, and absolutely impossible to miss in the garden. Very long, strong stems with great attachment and angles!

Starlit Russet. Swipe through to see a timelapse back to the beginning. All of these gorgeous plants came from one single rooted cutting shipped to me five months ago.

Starlit Russet is a stunner. Perfect height at 4 feet tall, with blooms that range from 3.5 to 4.5 inches in diameter. The most beautifully detailed petals produce a smoky raspberry bloom with deep wine undertones and tons of dimension. Long, dark stems that are thin and strong make it very easy to work with in an arrangement. The darker foliage complements the blooms beautifully. So prolific, these plants are consistently bursting with buds.

I’m so excited to introduce a brand new 2027 dahlia, hybridized by Levi Tremblay. One of my favorites in the garden right now. 🤍

Levi’s Cloud Nine

Creamy, 4 inch blooms with long, strong stems, some reaching nearly 2 feet. The coloring is the most beautiful creamy porcelain with just the slightest blush tucked into the centers.

But I think it’s the petals that really make this one special. They have this gorgeous shape that rounds out before coming to a point, glitter in the sunlight, and stretch back fully to the stem, kissing it. She has petal-packed centers that are reminiscent of Irish Ruffles and pull your attention back as soon as you’re finished admiring the rest of the ivory bloom.

The petals themselves are surprisingly tough, too. For something that looks so delicate, the blooms hold up incredibly well and don’t bruise easily when cutting and arranging.

And she is TALL. Some of our plants are pushing 7 feet this year, throwing those long stems up above the rest of the patch.

Elegant, strong, stretching high into the sky, Levi’s Cloud Nine has absolutely earned her spot as one of my favorites this season, which is why I want to share a tuber with two of you before it is available to buy. 🤍

You’re all right! Ladybug eggs and nymphs! If you look closely at the pic attached there is a tiny exoskeleton of an aphid. Ladybugs try and lay eggs where there will be food for their nymphs to feast on when they hatch. Beneficial bugs are so cool.

Were they viral? Not that I could tell.
Were they failing to thrive? Nope! They were so healthy!
Did every single bloom have early blown centers and a low petal count? Yep!

Sixteen thriving plants of a highly sought after dahlia, little tuber clumps and all, thrown out because it wasn’t good stock.

As the years go by, it’s easier and easier to kick stuff out. Today it was Skeena Glitter. ✌🏻
