Our new client was in the process getting a new vinyl liner installed and couldn’t find anyone to maintain it. He had some concerns because he felt the last guy bleached it out. I quickly put his mind at ease as we have zero difficulty maintaining a vinyl liner pool, if the equipment is working properly. It comes down to chemistry and experience. We will begin the startup on Tuesday with a complete chemical balance and salt. A startup is a process, not an event. You cannot dump all your chemicals in at once. The whole process usually takes a week. If this were a new plaster pool, the process is much different.
