The kitchen's usually the first space people gravitate to, and on this one, the stone does all the talking. We ran the same black veined slab across the countertops, the waterfall island edge, and the full height backsplash behind the range. Using one material across all three keeps everything feeling connected instead of pieced together.

The dining room is always a great place to sit down for a meal, but the rooftop gives you another option entirely. With a built-in grill, sink, and beverage fridge up top, it’s set up for hosting whether it’s a full cookout or just a few people enjoying the view. Spaces like this are what turn a home into a place that people naturally gather.

Cool vs warm lighting isn’t just preference, it’s how you define a space without adding walls.

We kept the dining area on cooler tones and brought warmer light over the kitchen island to make it feel more inviting and lived in. It’s a subtle shift, but it changes how each space is experienced.

Everything is dimmable too, so it can adjust depending on the time of day or how the space is being used.

Floating stairs are one of those features that instantly change the feel of a home.

These were designed to stay clean and open, but also functional. What you can’t see here is the integrated lighting built into each step that lights up the path at night.

Simple on the surface, but a lot of thought went into getting it right.

The goal for this primary suite was to get it right from the start. It’s where the owner lays their head, so we spent the time upfront making sure every detail was aligned before construction began.

It all started with the floor-to-ceiling panoramic doorway leading to a balcony seating area. There was a tradeoff in bedroom square footage to make it happen, but it was important for the owner to have a space to enjoy the weather, whether that’s a morning coffee or a nightcap, while still bringing in an abundance of natural light. The custom wood trim on the bedroom ceiling and in the bathroom ties back to the cedar ceiling detail on the balcony.

The bathroom was a different focus. The goal was to create a space that feels like a spa without leaving home. The dual shower setup allows for space and flexibility, with three separate shower heads that can run independently or together.

The end result is a primary suite that feels open, calm, and connected to the outdoors, paired with a bathroom that delivers a true spa experience. This was one of the areas we spent the most time refining to make sure we got it right.

Windows make a bigger difference in a home than most people realize.

We’re big on natural light, not just because it looks good, but because it changes how a space actually feels day to day. It also helps keep energy costs down when it’s done right.

On this project, we were very intentional about both placement and selection. Every window was chosen based on performance, not just appearance. We looked at U-Factor, SHGC, Low-E, DP rating, and air leakage to make sure the home holds up in Texas heat.

Paired that with spray foam insulation to keep things tight and efficient.

End result is a home that feels open and bright, but also performs the way it should.
