Now is the time to scalp and bag your Bermuda lawn as low as possible. This will remove dead / dormant grass on top and promote faster green up!

If your cutting your Bermuda higher than 2 inches your wrong. Bermuda that is too tall shades itself thin and only the very top is green while just below the surface is brown…..In the spring scalp it as low as possible and bag dead material. Keep it that height for a month. Raise it one notch….leave it there for 6-8 weeks. When it gets really hot and starts to dry out some then raise it once more for a max height. Leave it a little taller over the winter….repeat next year.

Cut low and cut often……

Lawn leveling.

Cut low. Aerate. 8 tons of sand. Work it into the holes and down into grass. Water. Water. Water.
Almost no visible sand after 7 days.
