As the owner of Shelton Electrical Services, nothing irritates me more than seeing homeowners pressured and scared into expensive electrical work they may not actually need.

Not every older electrical panel means your house is about to burn down. Unfortunately, some commission-based companies use fear tactics to push customers into signing replacement contracts on the spot.

A trustworthy electrician should educate you, explain the actual condition of your electrical system, and give you options — not pressure you into making a rushed decision out of fear.

If someone tells you that you MUST replace your panel immediately, don’t be afraid to say no and get a second opinion.

At Shelton Electrical Services, our technicians are not paid on commission. We believe in honest recommendations, fair pricing, and doing what’s truly best for the customer — not what creates the biggest sale.
