Heres my PSA for this month. If you were one of the lucky people to not get impacted by the recent storms call your insurance agent! I can not tell you how many homeowners we have come across that have 4k to 6k dollar deductibles and their insurance is acv. Which is actual cash value so they are charging them 6k up front and paying for 50% of their roof. An insurance your paying a significant amount a year for ends up paying for 1/3 of your roof? Talk to your agent about deductibles, if your policy is acv or rcv, get ordinance and law, make sure your insurance acts as insurance and not just a worthless monthly bill your mortgage company makes homeowners pay for!

Hello from 2 Lockwood grown men! We have some information for everyone. News reports state Lockwood got hit with golf ball size hail. The roofing industry is slow at this time, so everyone will probably be harassed by roofers. They will be cold calling and knocking on your doors. We refuse to do that! Here is some information for everyone:
1. Do not sign contracts from storm chasing companies!
2. Always go local. If their company area code is not 417 it is not local!
3. Get a warranty. Not just on material but on labor
4. Have the local roofing company meet your adjuster!
