Another great transformation by 828s Man With a Hand LLC!

We took this outdated laundry room and completely converted it into a beautiful laundry room/bathroom combo featuring custom tile work, a custom threshold, and a new door fitted into an extremely out-of-square opening.

The project required a full gut renovation, including removing and replacing completely rotten particleboard subflooring and leveling the floor, which was nearly 2 inches out of level.

A lot of work went into this one, but the finished result was well worth it. We love bringing old spaces back to life!

This one was all about giving this deck a second life.

The customer wasn’t quite ready for a full rebuild, so we focused on fixing what mattered and making it last. We replaced a rotted rim joist, swapped out a bad post, and went through a lot of the handrails and deck boards to get everything solid and safe again.

After that we pressure washed, fully sanded it down, and re-stained the whole deck to bring it back to life.

End result is a clean, sturdy deck that should get them another 10+ years without the cost of a full replacement.

This porch got a full reset.

We took everything all the way down to bare wood on the ceiling, posts, and floor so it was done the right way and would actually last. Then brought it back with a rich red solid stain on the ceiling, a light green/cream on the posts, and a barn red on the floor to tie it all together.

Completely changed the look and feel of the house and gave it that clean curb appeal again.l

Quick upgrade on this garden bed

The old stone border wasn’t holding up. No real base and nothing bonding it together, so it was starting to shift around.

We pulled it out, dug a trench, tamped in a pea gravel base, and reset everything with a couple extra layers of stone. Finished it off with landscape adhesive to keep it locked in.

Came out clean and it will hold up way better over time.

Rotten fascia & soffit replacement we knocked out

This one had a lot more going on than it looked from the ground, soft wood behind the fascia, moisture getting in, and sections that were starting to fail completely. We removed all the damaged material, rebuilt it solid, and got everything sealed back up the right way so it’ll hold up long-term.

This project started with an aging deck that had reached the end of its life. We completely demolished the old structure and rebuilt everything from the ground up to create a much more functional and beautiful outdoor living space.

The new build features:

• A fully rebuilt deck structure with proper footings and framing
• A custom screened-in porch perfect for enjoying the outdoors without the bugs

Preserving the 50s Character with a Modern Refresh on this partial bathroom remodel

This one was a fun transformation! The homeowner wanted to keep the original 1950s pink tub and toilet, while updating everything around it to make the space solid, functional, and fresh again.
