Skills and Qualifications:
Class A CDL license is required.
A clean driving record is required.
Strong knowledge of safety regulations.
Drug and alcohol-free at all times while on the job. Must be able to pass a drug test at any given time.
Knowledge of operating and hauling heavy equipment.
Comfortable driving in a city setting.
2 years of experience are required.
Responsibilities:
Communicating and coordinating with superintendents and foremen.
Hauling heavy equipment and machinery.
Securing cargo and properly arranging and balancing it.
Obeying and following applicable traffic laws.
Maintaining a detailed log of working hours within our electronic system and clocking time on appropriate jobs.
Ensuring all trucks and trailers are in good mechanical order and notifying mechanic of issues and needed repairs immediately.
