Cary Fridley and Down South Classic country, blues, swing, originals. We are a band from Asheville, NC, continuing the tradition of dancing and socializing in the mountains.

Influences include western swing, Piedmont blues, high lonesome singing, swing dancing, and modern jazz. Featuring Cary Fridley on acoustic bass and singing, Dave Perkins on electric guitar, and Lynn Netherton on pedal steel. We have several talented drummers that play with us around Asheville.
