Take the trip, beautiful place!
In North Carolina you can relax in a hammock overhanging a creek that trickles right under you at the JuneBug Retro Resort in Asheville! This unique spot sits on 50 private acres and even has a half mile of river running through it. Spread across the property are ten restored 1950s campers that you can rent, whether you’re planning a laid-back stay, a wedding, a reunion, or a group event. Just across the river is the Creek Lounge, set beneath tall walnut trees. You can stretch out in a hammock, place a chair right in the creek, or sit in the grass while enjoying live music played from a 1953 Ford truck stage. There are also food trucks, yard games, and drinks served out of a 1960 Airstream bar. The Creek Lounge opens back up for the season on May 21st and stays open through the warm months. It’s usually open on Thursday evenings and Sundays, but it’s best to check their page for the latest updates and event times.
