- We use energy efficient machines whenever possible (ex. hand saws, electric pole saws, electric motorcycle to provide bids)
- We remove infected wood from the property to avoid propagating airborne disease from on-site chipping
- We work with a tree’s natural ability to heal itself
- We don't treat with chemicals, ever
- When trees have to be removed, we aim to bring all merchantable trees to mills in order to save trees elsewhere (ask to see sample timber prices)

Aesthetics and health: Trimming trees is about aesthetics and health. I am about to "FIX" 12 trees on a property. Every tree has congested areas, dead limbs, fungus, sometimes they have root ball issues or another tree is blocking their sun. They might have environmental changes that are stressing them.

A tree gives energy to four things: 1) Growth, 2) Reproduction, 3) Maintenance (how much green it produces and how much it GETS RID OF. . .itself), 4) Bug and disease defense.

By adjusting #3 above, by helping a tree perform its maintenance. . . you leave extra energy (for the tree) to deploy its natural bug and disease defense system (via saps, anti-bug output, etc.)
