We are 1 week away from Thanksgiving and we all know some of you Turkey birds who 'Tis the Season before the last trick or treater leaves your doorstep🙋‍♀️! See below for some Holiday Electrical Safety tips to keep in mind while decorating. Our office will be closed next Thursday (11/23) and Friday (11/24) to enjoy the holiday. We hope everyone has a very safe and family filled Thanksgiving!

🎄Inspect all electrical decorations for damage before use
🎅 Do not overload electrical outlets
🤶 Protect cords from damage
⛄️ Water your tree
🎁 Turn off and unplug all decorations and extinguish all candles before going to sleep or leaving your home

We just had our 2nd to last quarterly meeting for this year (where has 2023 gone?!). We recognized our Techs of the Quarter and would like to give them a little shout out here.

From our Service Department, Charlie Ayers. Charlie has been with Hazzard for 5 years and he brings a lot to the table! From his attention to detail, his punctuality and overall good attitude, Charlie is a major asset to the Hazzard Team!

From our Contract Department, Kevin Urbina. Kevin has been with Hazzard for 3 years and has proven he is in it for the long haul. Having just completed school and gearing up to take his test, Kevin steps up to the plate to run his own team at our Falling Creek project in Chesterfield.

Hey Google.....

Is being an electrician stressful?

Electricians, while generally satisfied in their work, aren't exempt from stress and can experience fatigue and burnout like everyone else. Of course, the levels of stress electricians experience will vary from person to person. It depends on many factors, like responsibilities, hours, and location.

So, to ease some of the stress off our electricans here at Hazzard Electrical LLC, we will be treating our staff to a fishing trip in December with G&G Charters in Deltaville with Capt. Puddin! We are looking forward to it and stay tuned for some pictures of our big catches! 🐠🛥⚓️🛟

**THURSDAY FUN FACT:

Did you know a Master Electrician has as much Education and Training as a Doctor. Entry-level electricians graduate from trade school and start an apprenticeship. They may work under a journeyman electrician for 4 to 5 years before taking the electrician exam to become a journeyman electrician. Journeyman electricians work under master electricians for at least 3 more years until they are ready to pass a written and practical exam that covers their electrical competency. That means a master electrician has 8 years of education and training, as much as a doctor. 🧐🤯
