Happy National Public Works Week from Dirt Dawg!

Many times, public works professionals will never meet those whose lives have been impacted because when things are going right, no one knows that public works is there. Yet, with or without fanfare, public works is ever present, working in the background to advance quality of life for all.

Our crew is always learning how to serve you better, both on the job and with our annual safety trainings. So we thank you for all of your hard work to keep everything running smoothly!

Today kicks off National Work Zone Safety Awareness week. Since orange barrel season is ramping up, we would like to take this opportunity to remind drivers to pay attention in work zones. We would like to encourage people to move over, slow down, and use extra caution when they’re going through work zones this construction season. Our team members get up and go to work every day on the roadways and they want to come home safely at the end of each night.

Today was safety training and drug awareness day. The team is enjoying lunch between sessions!

Construction sites are dynamic and challenging environments, making safety a top priority for workers. Having the correct safety measures in place can help keep all employees safe.

Dirt Dawg Excavating LLC has an opening for a safe, dedicated, Class B CDL Truck Driver to drive single, tandem, or quad axle dump truck.
Candidate must be safety conscious, self-motivated, demonstrate initiative in ex*****on of assigned tasks, and possess good work ethic.
This position is full-time, year around work.
Additional requirements:
• Experience with driving dump truck
• Valid Ohio Drivers License with CDL Class B Required
• Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug tests
• Background check
• Acceptable MVR report required
• Must have knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
