Big news!

Two Dudes is growing and evolving. From now on we’ll be operating under a new name: Busy Burton Home Services.

Same person. Same work ethic. Just a name that better represents the long-term vision for the business.

We’ll continue offering the same services:
• Painting
• Flooring
• Repairs
• Moving help
• Property improvements

This job had a little more to it. The city was called by a tenant whose bed posts went through the floor in 2 spots. Upon inspection, there was much to get done to this home.

Bathroom flooring pulled ✅
Tub and toilet pulled ✅
Subfloor removed and replaced ✅
New subfloor, universal (instead of wax) ring, vanity, flooring, tub surround, and quarter round installed ✅

Bedroom flooring removed✅
Subfloor removed✅
Reinforced joists ✅
New subfloor installed✅
It was requested to use original flooring in bedroom, so that was re-installed along with the original trim✅
New accordion style door due to bedroom door being cut out by firefighters✅

Hallway flooring was removed✅
Subfloor was coming up in the hallway and creating a tripping hazard, that was secured down and new plank flooring installed✅
Original trim re-installed✅

New GFCI in every room✅
Smoke/carbon monoxide detectors in each room✅

Everything on the inspectors list, done and inspected by himself and the fire marshall✅

And here to break the silence, we’ve been busy!

Two homes completed (will be two separate posts) but here is the first of many!

This customer has been good to us, a mobile home community with much to do, right here in Ashtabula. This home was in need of new paint and flooring, some minor drywall repair, and a general refreshing.

Love the way this turned out! The regional manager was especially happy and also got the home leased already! Before and after photos below ⬇️

The New Year is just a few days away, and 2026 is shaping up to be a big year for us here at Two Dudes. We have a lot of goals and plans to continue improving our services for our community. Here’s a small list of things we’re hoping to accomplish in 2026:

• A work truck
• A trailer to haul equipment
• A plow
• A zero-turn or riding lawn mower
• Various equipment, including:
– Backpack leaf blowers
– Rakes and shovels
– New ladders
– A pressure washer

These are some key highlights we’re aiming to achieve in 2026. We want to thank everyone who has supported us throughout this journey. We truly appreciate every opportunity you’ve given us to serve you.

As always, if you have anything you need done, can’t do yourself, or simply don’t have the time for, don’t hesitate to call on Two Dudes.
