This was a BIG clean up for a solo operator, but I got it done in 8 hours! It hadn’t been touched in over a year, but I got it in presentable shape. The client liked my work and wanted to get put on schedule for bi-weekly maintenance. Once I get everything pruned, sprayed, and mulched, this property is going to be beautiful!

I decided to donate some fresh long needle pine straw to Mount Lebanon FCM Church for their decoration day. They were “tickled pink” with the outcome! It’s amazing how a fresh layer of pine straw is so aesthetically pleasing!

There’s a method to the madness when striping a yard up.
STEP ONE: make two passes around the perimeter of the yard.
STEP TWO: decide which way you want to go (vertical or horizontal)
STEP THREE: find an object in the yard and LOCK YOUR EYES ON IT! (Make sure your first pass has no obstacles such as trees etc. in the way)
STEP FOUR: SEND IT! If I’m going vertical as pictured I start in the middle of the yard and work one side then work the other side.
Tips: make sure your deck is clean and blades sharp, use the full length of the deck, the higher you cut the better the stripes hit!(in some cases), if you mess up correct your mistakes, KEEP THEM LINES STRAIGHT!!! I AM THE STRIPE KING!!! Got it down to a science!! Give me a call if you want the nicest yard on the block! 2058132044
