R. Titter Roofing and our disposal company, Selective Dismantlement Inc., have partnered with White Horse Village, Inc. in their community wide recycling efforts. A recently completed project at White Horse Village involved the removal and replacement of approximately 116,000 square feet of asphalt shingles. Normally, the removed shingles are placed into dumpsters and sent to a landfill where it is buried. In keeping with White Horse Village’s desire to recycle wherever possible, over 102 tons of asphalt shingles was diverted from landfill sites and has been recycled for use as hot mix for road paving.
