Most people buy a water treatment system without ever seeing one in person.

That’s why we built our new showroom here in Athens. In this video I walk through what we have set up:

Sediment Shield — our “forever” sediment filter. Stainless mesh, flushed from a valve at the bottom, no cartridges to replace.
The Maytag whole-home water filtration system.
A UV system, on display so you can see how it works.
Reverse osmosis — point-of-use at the kitchen tap or refrigerator, for the highest quality drinking water no matter what’s coming into the house.

This Saturday, October 24th, we’ll be at Pumpkintown. Come by our booth, then walk into the showroom and see it all for yourself. Bring your questions — and bring the kids, it’s Pumpkintown.

Seeing the equipment is one thing. Knowing which of it belongs in your home comes from your specific water test.

See you Saturday.

Something new is happening at WaterGuard — and we’re pretty excited about it.

These pictures show the newest addition to our showroom in Athens, TN: a full working whole-home system on display.

You’ll be able to walk right up to it and see every part out in the open, so you can see exactly how it works instead of just hearing us talk about it.

And the sink is my favorite part. One side gives you regular municipal tap water. The other gives you fully treated water — filtered and softened. Same faucet. You get to see it, feel it, and taste the difference yourself.

Come by and see it. If you’ve ever been curious how a system like ours works, we’d love to show you.

The most important part of a water system is usually the one nobody notices.

The first picture is this full install at a home in Athens, TN on a private well. See the circle? That’s the sediment filter.

The second picture is that same filter 24 hours later.

Every bit of that gunk was getting through to the water this family uses every day — drinking, cooking, showering, laundry. Now it’s stopped right there at the sediment filter.

It’s also protecting the rest of the system. Sediment is hard on a water softener and makes a UV system’s job harder. Catching it first keeps that equipment working the way it was designed to.

Again — that’s only 24 hours.

Private wells can change a lot, and every well is different. That’s why we test first and design the system around what’s actually in the water.

Thirty years. That's how long this water softener served this Strawberry Plains family, until it stopped working and hard water came back into their home.

They called WaterGuard, and the next week Jason installed a brand-new water softener and filtration system.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "Jason installed our water softener professionally and efficiently. He was very friendly and helpful. Thank you!"

See that brown water? It's supposed to be clear.

We just replaced this filtration tank at a well-water home in Reliance, TN, and we're dumping out the old media — the stuff inside the tank that actually cleans the water.

This well has ferric iron in it. A correctly sized tank flushes that iron out every time it backwashes, so the media stays clean and keeps working.

This tank was too small for this water. It couldn't clean itself, the iron built up over the years, and it destroyed the media. That's what you're watching pour out.

The equipment didn't fail. The sizing did — because the system was installed without an accurate test of what was actually in the water.

If you're on well water: get an accurate test before anyone sells you a system. It's the only way to know what type you need and what size.

Ever move somewhere and the water just feels... off?

That's what happened to this homeowner in Cleveland, TN. Moved here two years ago and never got used to the feel or taste of the water. He finally decided he shouldn't have to.

He also wanted to protect his appliances and reduce his family's exposure to chemicals — so we tested his water and built a whole-home system around what we found:

A sediment filter → catches the big stuff
A chemical-reduction filter → cleaner water at every tap
A water softener → turns hard water soft

And here's the part people always ask about — the install. He opened the door for our crew. That was his whole job. 5 hours of work on our end, water off for just 30 minutes, and he had great water by dinner.

Same house. Different water. Every shower, every glass, every appliance.

If your water has ever felt "off," you don't have to get used to it.
