Hot day. Tough pour. Great crew. 💪

The crew hit the ground running at 7:00 AM yesterday morning in preparation for an 8:00 AM concrete pour at the Echo Lake Dam Project in Burlington, WI.

The heat was relentless, and the pour was anything but easy with many obstacles. But this team stayed focused, worked together, and kept pushing until the job was done.

No complaints. No excuses. Just a group of hardworking men doing what they do best: putting their heads down, watching out for one another, and getting the job done right.

When conditions get tough, you find out what a team is made of. These guys proved exactly that.

🚧 Before sunrise this morning on Highway 13 near Medford, our crew was already geared up and ready to pour. With the first of 18 concrete trucks arriving at 5:45 a.m., our 16-person team worked efficiently to place and finish the bridge deck by 9:30 a.m.—another solid pour and a strong step forward for the project. Proud of our team’s effort…another job well done!!🚧

We know many residents have been eagerly awaiting the reopening of the bridge on the north side of Athens, and we are pleased to announce that it will reopen today, June 25, 2026, at noon.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone for your patience, understanding, and cooperation throughout the construction process. Your willingness to use the designated detours allowed our crew to safely and efficiently complete the necessary improvements.

We appreciate your support and are excited to restore full access to the bridge for our community.
