Did you know that George Washington was a Land Surveyor?
Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, Daniel Boone, and Henry David Thoreau were too.
I was working in the playground of Oconee Primary a few years ago and one of the teachers was telling the children about the famous presidents that were land surveyors.
She mentioned Washington, and Jefferson and I added Lincoln.
One of the kids looked up to me and asked....”Are you the President?”
