There’s something special about seeing a community come together around a shared goal! Kokosing Solar was proud to help bring a new solar installation at the Bryn Du Mansion to life, working alongside an incredible group of partners including the Village of Granville, the Granville Community Foundation, and Go Green Granville. Annually, the 14kW array will save ~$2,600 in electricity costs.

As one community leader said during the event, “This project makes the next one easier.”

We’re grateful to be part of a project that not only delivers clean energy, but also sets an example for what’s possible when a community rallies around sustainability.

As we continue celebrating our 25th anniversary, we’re looking back at some of our most iconic projects. 🌞

When Muskingum University set out to advance sustainability across campus, they partnered with Kokosing Solar to bring that vision to life. Our latest collaboration features an 863 kWdc solar array atop the MU Health and Wellness Complex, uniquely designed to form a block “M” inspired by the University’s athletic logo.

This project reduces energy costs and emissions today—while setting MU up for long-term ownership and impact in the future.

Comparing solar quotes isn’t always an “apples to apples” situation. If you only look at system size and price, you’re not actually comparing the same product. A lower‑priced quote may use less efficient, faster‑degrading panels with weaker warranties or lower‑quality equipment, which can reduce your system’s long‑term energy production.

So, while the cheaper option may look appealing upfront, it can end up costing more in the long run. Quality equipment and strong warranties often deliver far better lifetime value than the lowest price tag.
