We loved this kitchen! We completely overhauled the look and feel of the room. Our crew installed new appliances, a pot-filler faucet, a giant island, new Chevron tile, additional lighting, quartz countertops and client-selected fixtures. We also expanded the window above the sink to bring in additional light. At the homeowner’s request, we special-ordered cabinet covers for the high- end appliances and the dishwasher. For this kitchen, our most important goal was to redesign the layout with a more open feel and additional storage space. We discovered some structural issues that were left by a previous owner when we began demolition. So, before we began updating everything, we decided to pause and reinforce the areas properly. Once we removed one wall and widened the space, we were able to increase the size of the island by 75%!
