Whether designing a building using a ventilated rainscreen, EIFS and/or stucco system, StoCast Brick is the ideal solution when the project calls for either a traditional or customized “classic” look.

StoCast Brick are custom-made resin cast bricks that create unique designs. The product is easily applied at the job site, but is also suitable for use in offsite , serving as a finishing component in the creation of manufactured prefabricated panels such as those from Sto Panel Technology.

StoCast Brick is ideal for renovation; colors and surface textures can be matched to existing facade designs or used to realize individual creative concepts.

A StoVentec Render Rainscreen System delivered the design freedom needed for Omaha Central Library, allowing global design firm HDR to create a beautiful, one-of-a-kind structure that looks more like a museum than a library.

The state-of-the-art facility is home to an innovation incubator and automated storage and retrieval system that is the size of a building itself.

Named after the lotus leaf’s superhydrophobic surface and self-cleaning mechanism, Sto Corp.’s Lotus-Effect mimics nature’s solution to the problem of dirt – working as elegantly on building envelopes as it does on delicate leaves.

While the underlying technology behind Sto’s Lotus-Effect remains the same throughout, Sto translated the principle into two products: StoColor Lotusan and Stolit Lotusan.

Both solutions apply the same biomimetic concept, but each offers a different type of solution.

As building codes and performance expectations evolve, facade specification must balance efficiency, resilience, constructability, and long-term durability with the desired aesthetic.
