Project Update: Merry Corners Retail Shops Complete! Merry Corners Retail Shops is now open, featuring two buildings totaling over 31,000 square feet and 10 diverse tenants. From coffee and dining to retail, wellness, and entertainment, this vibrant center brings a dynamic mix of services to the community. Benning also provided general contracting services for Lee Gimbap and The Goat Bar & Grill—two standout dining destinations within the development. A New Chapter Begins at Cristo Rey! On Friday, May 29th, the Cristo Rey community marked more than just the last day of school—it was also the start of something exciting for the future.

The President of Cristo Rey, alongside members of the Board of Directors, celebrated the commencement of the gymnasium renovation with a unique and symbolic “sledgehammer groundbreaking.” This milestone represents continued investment in the school’s students, programs, and community, ensuring future generations have even better spaces to learn, grow, and thrive.

Celebrating a Big Win at the Build Georgia Awards!

Benning is proud to share that we received a Build Georgia Award from the AGC—recognizing the Planet Fitness project in Pooler, GA. This accomplishment highlights the outstanding work and collaboration of team members Rani Ghawi, David Pitts, John Barry, and Katherine Samford, whose efforts helped make the project a success.
