🌱 A LITTLE GRACE FOR YOUR LAWN GUY… 🌱

This is for that one customer who notices the one little limb left in the flower bed… or the handful of grass clippings we didn’t get blown off the driveway. 😂

Yes, you’re paying us to take care of your lawn.
Yes, we’re licensed and insured.
Yes, we pay taxes, fuel, insurance, equipment repairs, blades, string, and all the other expenses that come with running a legitimate business.

But here’s the part you may not see…

It’s Friday afternoon.
The heat index is pushing 100+ degrees.
I’m 57 years old.
Your house might be yard #10 today.

My shirt has been soaked through since 9:00 this morning, I’ve probably drank a gallon of water, and every part of my body is telling me it’s time to go home. 😂

I’d LOVE to hire somebody to do it all for me…but many of you have already told me, “Tommy, they just don’t do it like you do.”

So I keep showing up.

And yes, every once in a while, I might miss a twig. I might leave a few clippings behind. I might not notice that one blade of grass leaning against your mailbox. 😂

Before complaining, maybe remember there’s a human being behind that mower.

Offer your lawn guy a cold bottle of water. Tell him the yard looks good. Give him a little grace.

Or, if that one little stick is really bothering you while you’re sitting in the air conditioning eating bonbons and watching The View… come on outside and pick that sucker up for me. 😂😂😂

While a lot of folks are getting ready to enjoy a 3-day Labor Day weekend, I’ll be working all three days.

Not because I hate weekends.

Because I have a family to take care of, customers depending on me, bills to pay, and a business I’m trying to build.

So this Labor Day weekend, remember the landscapers, roofers, construction workers, mechanics, delivery drivers, farmers, and everybody else working outside in this Georgia heat.

A little appreciation goes a LONG way. ❤️
