25 years of TS Adams Studio.

This year marks a major milestone for TS Adams Studio, Architects, our 25th Anniversary. We invite you to take a look back through our archives of 25 projects from the last 25 years. But first, let’s take a look at where it all began.

In 2001, my wife, Kelli, and I were living in a 1940’s cottage home in Peachtree Hills that we renovated over time. The final phase of our renovation was converting the existing freestanding, one car garage into a home studio, which became the first office for TS Adams Studio, Architects. Housed in this cozy studio space was a small design office, meeting space and area for Kelli to manage the operational side of things. These photos are from the early days, including our first sign and original logo.

Over the coming months, I’ll be sharing projects and stories from throughout the past 25 years. A lot has changed since that little carriage house, but it is pretty special to look back at where it all started.

Different POVs…

A limestone-floored front entryway, framed by clad vertical paneling that carries throughout the home. Simple, intentional, and full of quiet impact.

Another speed sketch session in the books! In this exercise, I wanted the team to focus on what they actually see rather than what they think something is supposed to look like. The goal was to practice carefully observing, comparing, and accurately judging proportions.
