Go big or go home — especially on Lake Lanier.

If you’re building a new dock or upgrading your current one, Scott’s advice is to make the most of the space you’re allowed to have:

• In many cases, 32' x 32' is the largest dock size permitted on Lake Lanier
• Add a sundeck for more entertaining space, better views, and added resale appeal
• Have an older double-slip dock? You may be able to fill in the second slip and create more shaded space for seating, relaxing, and entertaining
• Martin Docks can help with the design, layout, and permitting process from start to finish
