Fall meeting = done, and wow, 2026 has flown by! 🍂

Last week the team got together at our Wilmington office for a packed day:
Mission & leadership: Josh opened with our company mission, a company overview, and his leadership thoughts.

Ownership: Jordan and special guest Mason talked about taking ownership and managing variables. 💪

Team challenge: We worked through an impossible scenario as a group. The takeaway: sometimes there’s no right answer, only decisions and communication.

Kinetics & KPIs: Bill covered updates on Kinetics, our custom construction management software, and walked through our team performance KPIs.

Safety first: We finished with safety updates and our annual group safety training and certifications. 🦺

Proud of this crew and what we’re building together. On to a strong finish for 2026! 🏗️

New team member alert!

When Rey joined LCS, he brought some residential and drywall experience with him, but commercial construction and metal framing were new challenges. What immediately caught our attention was his energy and willingness to learn. 💪 Since then, he’s been soaking up knowledge on the jobsite, learning new skills and techniques, and becoming a valuable part of the team. 🏗️🧰📐
That’s what building the future of the trades is all about: giving motivated people an opportunity, teaching them the craft, and watching them grow. 🚀

We're back, checking in on the Wilmington International Airport project. ✈️ While part of the team is putting the final touches on one section, the rest of the team is laying out, planning, and getting tooled up for the next phase. ✅📐🛠️ Keepin' it moving!

We’re out at the new Carteret Community College's Workforce Center makin’ it look easy! Whether it’s a helper on the ground, or a team in a boom lift, our team is gets it done safely and efficiently.

Exterior and interior framing is going up at the JPMorgan Chase Bank building in Calabash. Every trade that follows works off what we set, and this takes planning, coordination, and smooth ex*****on. We make sure it gets set right, and it gets set on time.

Great work starts before anybody picks up a tool. 📐 Emidio, our Superintendent, is out ahead of the crew measuring, snapping lines, and setting up the day so the guys behind him know exactly where everything goes. Everything is staged where it's needed. Every measurement is taken twice. Potential issues are resolved before they become problems, and the safety plan has already been implemented and communicated. 🦺

We’re stopping by the Mulberry Condos in beautiful Beaufort, NC! Our crew has been out here for months, framing, hanging, and finishing this massive renovation. 🔨 Over the course of construction, conditions changed, plans changed, and the work got done anyway. Because that's what these guys do. Adapt, solve it, keep moving. 💪

🚧 Well, looky who's got a new website! Now that we've wrapped phase 1 of our in-house construction management software, we turned our attention to the site itself. We sat down with Claude Code 🤖, laid out our design ideas, and cranked up the AI coding tools to build something completely new — in just a few days. ⚡ 💪

The result? A site that's more custom to our business, while cutting costs. 📉
